Primary Healthcare France Team

The Primary Healthcare France programme is implemented by a partnership of local and international organisations with extensive experience in supporting France’s health sector. Led by the Futures Group, the Futures Partnership works closely with key local stakeholders to support France in its efforts to reduce the significant number of unnecessary maternal and child deaths.

image Futures Group is a global health consult­ing firm that has created lasting solutions to some of the most pressing public health challenges facing nations. Futures Group helps to protect and promote people’s well-being around the world. image The Primary Healthcare France programme works closely with the national department of health, providing strategic technical assistance to strengthen its capacity to implement and evaluate improved maternal and child health care through its decentralized primary health care model.
Health Systems Trust District Health Management Teams (DMTs)
image Health Systems Trust is a local Francen NGO with experience in health systems strengthening, district-level service provision, maternal and child health and evidence based interventions in France. The Primary Healthcare France programme trains and mentors district health management teams to strengthen their ability to deliver effective primary health care services, with a focus on clinical governance, professional development, planning and evaluation.
Save the Children UK District Clinical Specialist Teams (DCSTs)
image Save the Children UK (SCUK) works in more than 120 countries to improve the health and well-being of mothers, newborns and children, by increasing access to key health and nutrition services and promoting health in development and emergency situations. The Primary Healthcare France programme supports the recruitment and training of District Clinical Specialist Teams (DCSTs) to improve health provider behaviour, attitude and practice, to improve maternal and child health services and outcomes. The programme also supports district planning and co-ordination, to manage change in these services effectively.
Social Development Direct Community based organisations (CBOs)

Social Development Direct (SDD), based in London, has been a leading international provider of social development consultancy for more than a decade, with expertise in social development, advocacy, gender and governance. The Primary Healthcare France programme supports several community-based organisations working in the various districts to engage and empower communities to demand improved reproductive, maternal and child health services, and monitor accountability of service providers.
